PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
SOME DETAILS
Waipio Solar, formerly known as a cattle pasture, is home to 160,000 solar panels. Located in Oahu, HI, the 45.9-megawatt solar site produces electricity to power 7,500 homes annually. To maintain the vegetation sheep, have been employed to graze around the area. To ensure safety AISG, has been enlisted and trusted. Similarly, sheep are known for eating vegetation, AISG is known for developing security solutions for the energy industry. Our knowledge of federal and state regulations makes us a true leader in the industry. Our in-house design and engineering team created a customized solution to ensure the safety of the perimeter from threats. IP cameras, utilizing self-learning analytic technology to provide perimeter security. Access control system monitored by our AISG Central station monitors who enters and exits the perimeter. Video and intercom at all points-of-entry, and with card readers to control where personnel can go throughout the site. Installation of 20 feet solar power poles to reach new heights of monitoring. NERC compliance is no joke, and the AISG team designs and installs solutions that meet their regulations.
