PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
SOME DETAILS
Kawailoa Solar is a 49-megawatt project located in Oahu, HI in Kamehameha Schools’ Kawailoa Plantation. Currently housing 500,000 solar panels on what was formerly sugar cane land. Being the largest PV site in the entire state of Hawaii, AISG was chosen because of our vast experience developing security solutions for the energy industry. The in-house design and engineering proposal included IP Fixed Day/Night Infrared cameras, 24/7 central station, access control, and more. The cameras are placed on the site on 20Ft Aluminum Solar Powered Poles to utilize self-learning analytics technology. Upon any event, the technology will notify our AISG 24/7 Central Station. The job of our Central Station is to ensure the safety of the site through access control monitoring for the site, including entrance doors and gates. Video, two-way audio, and an intercom give our central station the ability to monitor who enters and exits the perimeter. The intercom is installed outside near the entrance and is connected and powered by the 20Ft Solar Pole. AISG secures and protects the positive impact of solar farms in the region.
