PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
SOME DETAILS
Previously undisturbed, former grazing land, now Juno Solar – located in Borden County, Texas – produces about 890 GWh per year, enough to provide power to 85,000 homes. The site is a potential target for theft and terrorism and, as a result, requires a comprehensive and reliable security and monitoring solution. AISG was brought in to assess the site’s safety; as a result, implemented access control at all entries, monitoring through AISG’s 24/7 surveillance monitoring services from a central monitoring center, and protection to the perimeter. Restricted personnel access control is provided to the Substation and OM Building. AISG deploys powerful, IP-based video surveillance cameras, including thermal day/night cameras that can detect a human a half-mile away. Solar-powered poles are located around the perimeter with industrial network switches and wireless adapters to optimize efficiency and complete site protection. Solar power customers have the utmost assurance that their site is being monitored at all times.
