PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
SOME DETAILS
Security is a priority, and JFK’s Terminal 7 and 8 have a variety of Oneworld Alliance and international carriers operating at this time. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection facilities process more than 1,600 people an hour, and their challenge was visibility. Upgrading cameras and monitors provided JFK with a complete turnkey system, with cameras and audio recordings of every person entering the country. An intercom system and cameras were installed in the holding cells allowing officers to communicate with the person inside. AISG installed workstations throughout for authorized personnel to have access to all cameras and microphones. IP cameras are throughout the customs areas, including: passenger’s entry or exit points, queue lines, and judges rooms where passengers go for additional screening. The security solution provides start to finish coverage for the terminals.
