PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
SOME DETAILS
Terminal 8 at JFK airport was in need of attention, and the AA security management team brought AISG to the table. The camera system needed an upgrade and the infrastructure was outdated. AISG was tasked to repair the fiber optics backbone for the camera network, and repair and reposition PTZ cameras at each gate. While we replaced several analog cameras with new high-megapixel IP cameras, we also added cameras to strategic locations to tighten up security, but also to help management keep an eye on the operation side of the terminal. Besides the video surveillance system, AISG was also tasked with the daily maintenance of the existing access control system. AISG technicians are the new “residents” of terminal 8.
